The goal for this project was to create an editorial spread layout for an existing music magazine that also reflected the aesthetic of the musical artist that the article describes. While the photographs, album artwork, and logos are not my own creation and all credit to these visuals go to their original creators, I designed the full layout and decorative materials on my own and generated a complimenting design aesthetic to the existing materials.

Below are elements I created to complement the existing visuals to maintain the artist’s brand throughout the editorial. I retouched existing photos to match the image by Brian Cox, designed minimalistic graphics, and created a release date design by pulling from and referencing existing characters in the band logo. Any other logos and visuals are not my creation and credit goes to the respected creators.

I edited the following photo by Don Henson and the screen still below by Kevin Garcia so that they would better match the photo by Brian Cox, which is seen above.
